Any Hokies out there in Communications, Sales or Event Management looking for a paid, full-time (read: 40 hrs/week) internship?
2013 Chick-fil-A Bowl Internship Program
The Chick-fil-A Bowl is now seeking candidates to fill three long term paid internships and two short term paid internships for the 2013 college football season.
This year’s group of interns will help plan and execute the Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game featuring the University of Alabama versus Virginia Tech. Interns will also play a vital role in the planning and execution of the 46th Chick-fil-A Bowl.
Awesome opportunity for college students that I wanted to pass along…

Hokie outfit alert.
Here we are again. It’s been 5 years since the shootings at Virginia Tech, and the emotions are just as raw. But, as always, today is a great reminder to “appreciate life a little more, take in every moment around you, count your blessings, tell the people around you that you love them, slow down, remember what’s truly important in life”.
Live for 32.
Or, we’re just really big Virginia Tech fans*…
My parents are on vacation in Hilton Head Island, visiting my grandparents who live there. I asked them to pick me up a Salty Dog Cafe t-shirt when they went, to add to my collection. I told my mom I wanted orange.

I sent Eric the link, without telling him what color I chose, to see if he wanted one and he said he’d take the Crimson.

Now, I know “crimson” isn’t the same as Chicago Maroon, but it’s close enough.
*Clearly we’re big fans of Virginia Tech—we got married there.
