This is my favorite dry shampoo.
It doesn’t have an obnoxious, overpowering smell (like others I’ve used), it doesn’t turn my blonde hair white, and it really volumizes! (Spell check is telling me that’s not a word, but whatever.)
In addition to using it when I don’t feel like washing my hair, I’ve found that it really helps to add volume to freshly washed and styled hair. Once I dry my hair and run the flat iron through, I take a round brush and pull up on my bangs and the hair right along my part, blast the roots a few times, and then voila!
LONG-LASTING VOLUME!
I get my hair done next week and for the first time ever, I know what I want before I’m sitting in the chair.
Lowlights, a la:

Haven’t had ‘em in a long time. A long, long time.
But I think it’s time for them to make a resurgence. I’m just getting a little…bored.
Also, I’m going to keep growing my hair. Now that I’ve learned how to curl it correctly, I’ll be able to do more with it.
Dinh will be shocked when I tell him to get some of the darker color out!

Did you ever know I dyed my hair brown once? It was the worst.

What should I do, friends?
Here is the [awkward] video I made showing how I do my bangs. I never was comfortable in front of the camera.
Also, don’t mind my robe over the t-shirt. I wasn’t wearing a bra, and putting on a robe is a lot easier than putting on a bra. Amirite?!
Anyway, hopefully this helps and effectively shows you what I was trying to say here.

I’ve done it. I’ve discovered the secret to ridiculously soft hair. Here’s how it’s done:
I try to do this on weeknights after a workout when I have time to let my hair dry for a while in the towel, so plan accordingly.
I swear to you, I’ve never felt my hair so soft and it helps with the flyaways I was complaining about a few weeks ago!
A lot of you were curious as to how I got all of this hair product for $68. Well, wonder no more!
Once a year at my new job they have a flea market where they sell all the product they can’t or won’t sell at the salons for whatever reason, and they sell it cheap. For instance, one of the texturizing sprays had faulty caps on the bottles, so they needed to get rid of them.
All liters were $5. Everything else, and I mean everything, was only $1. After lunch, to get rid of everything that hadn’t sold, they marked everything down further. So you got 2/$1 and liters were even cheaper than $5.
I’m going to give a lot of it to my mom, sister and aunt, as I would never be able to use all of that. Before I do, though, I want to add up the retail price of everything and see how much I really saved!
I definitely started at the right time!
Love love love! It feels so much lighter and looks so much blonder—exactly what I wanted. I love Dinh. He’s my heeeeeroooo.
Within an hour of being at work, my hair has to go up into a ponytail. Usually this is a sign that it needs to be cut.
But do I cut it all off after I just grew it out for 18 months?
Here is a picture of my hair as it is now (long) and how it was then (short). Which way do you like better?

The flat iron I’ve been using for 6 years finally died. Does anyone have any recommendations for a new one? (Please don’t say a CHI, I ain’t got that kinda cash!)
Damaged (damaged), damaged (damaged)
I thought that I should let you know
That my hair is damaged (damaged), so damaged (so damaged)…
