I probably think this is funnier than it really is…

I took a test photo to see if my self timer would get me in the picture because Eric was holding the dogs. (I didn’t notice all of the rock in the way…)

I thought it was OK, so I set the timer and took my position at the edge of the mountain:

As I was flipping through my photos on the camera after we were done with the hike, I realized it looked like I was hiding and popped up for the camera.

So naturally, I made it into a gif.
