Side note: Does anyone have any remedies for dog tears/staining? It’s not his food he’s allergic to and it doesn’t seem to bother him so I haven’t brought him to the vet (I will address it when he goes in for vaccinations). He looks sad and he’s not!

It says not to get it in their eyes (weird) so I usually wet a washcloth with warm water then put a little of the stuff with it and wipe at Abby’s until they soften enough to wipe off. Tear stains…

  3. definitelyjennifer said: we used to use a product from the pet store that you clean the area with but in the long run your vet needs to determine why he’s tearing so much (also the staining could be from his food, etc.)

  5. cougartraining said: Eye drops. You can find some over the counter (ie the doggie care aisle) that will help clear out their eyes so the tears and crusties that form aren’t saturated. The vet will put you on some if you mention it. PS great rug.
