Do you feel guilty asking for time off from work?

I always do, and it’s so ridiculous. None of my bosses have ever given me trouble when I need time off, but I tend to get nervous about asking.

Am I alone?

  1. girlinhongkong answered: I feel the same way - but always remind myself that I wouldn’t mind either if THEY asked me for time off!

  10. dailykayla said: I’ve gotten marginally better but I still will not take a full day. For example, I have some Friday courses this semester that meet 12p-5p. So I only take a half day at work rather than TREAT MYSELF. I get way too nervous about asking as well.
  11. shanamaideleh reblogged this from kimbaland and added:

  19. cleverlikewhoa answered: yes, and my boss is the kind of guilt trips
  20. kitcater said: Yes every time even though I have extra days! my boss encourages it too but than gets awkward when I ask so thT might be why.
