I found the “Deactivate Profile” page on Facebook after 10 minutes of searching. They really hide that little sucker.
It wanted me to write a final goodbye to some random friends.
I stared at the page for a minute or two and decided that today is not the day.
But maybe tomorrow is.

One of the friendships in my life, I think, is coming to an end.
Not officially, and I don’t know that it ever will be official, but neither of us are putting forth any effort to revive it.
And nothing caused it, I think it’s just one of those friendships that wear away with time.

I ran. And fell.
I was on mile 9/10 thinking how much better this run was than last week’s long one when I tripped over an uneven sidewalk slab and found myself in mid-air, headed face-first for the sidewalk. That’s when my cat-like reflexes kicked in and I somehow barrel rolled into the adjacent lawn instead.

$29.99 Bathroom Makeover
If there is anything bad about living in a new-construction home, it’s the builder grade stuff that comes with it. It’s just so….blah. And so was our powder room, until today.
I spotted this awesome framed mirror at Kirklands that was marked down from $59.99 to $29.99. Kind of a no brainer. So home I went to unscrew the big oval from the wall.

Thing That Makes Me Seem 432 Years Old
I think I’m going to look into a sewing class.
I’ve had my sewing machine for years now and am able to use it for very basic things, and I kinda just use it without instruction. But I foresee a lot more DIY textiles for our home and would like to stop winging it. (Although I seem to be pretty good at just winging it.)
I can’t wait to meet Doris, Ruth and Betty Sue.
I don't know what I'm having for dinner...
Yesterday I was planning on making this pork recipe with an asian stir-fry, but I wasn’t feeling it. I was going to make it tonight instead but I’m not quite feeling it today either!
(I don’t love pork so that’s probably why. In fact, I don’t love any meat that much.)
