Today when I get home from work...
not only will I be greeted by Macho, but by my sister and my parents!
They are in town for the weekend and we have some fun times lined up, including the Wine Festival in Reston tomorrow afternoon. We will go on bike rides and out to eat and in-home eating and drinking, etc.
Fun times ahead!

Really? Lucky you! A few of my friends/acquaintances used him so I’m friends with him on Facebook (I actually think he added me before my wedding, maybe in hopes of us using him!) and I just love his style.

On Taking Shelter
Thankfully where I live did not get hit with any tornadoes last night/early this morning, though nearby towns did. Granted, they were not as strong as some of the other tornadoes wreaking havoc in the south, but still—they were tornadoes!!
As I crawled into bed last night and flipped on the news, I found myself thinking about where me and Macho would take shelter (as Eric was out of town)....
