The Tale of Potential Embarrassment

My views on global warming. Well, to put it simply: I don’t buy it. The “evidence” just isn’t conclusive enough for me. I don’t like to get into politics or other controversial topics on my blog, so I’ll leave it at that.

Did you pick out the flavor/design of your wedding cake yet?
We did! It will be a 4-tier, round cake with black ribbon on the bottom of each tier. We will decorate with green flowers to match my bouqet. (Just like this, but round.) New Scale
I got a new scale for Christmas. Actually, scratch that. “New” implies I had an old one. I didn’t. I have never, ever, ever owned a scale in my life. Now that I am constantly trying to lose or maintain my weight, I figured it was time to cave.
Tonight, I took it out of the box.
I don’t like what I saw.
173 days.
There are 173 days left until our wedding. That’s roughly 5 months, 3 weeks. In that time, I can’t take even one day off of work. That will be so tough.
But, it will all be worth it when I’m out of work for 12 days straight! Oh, and than one extra day for the 4th of July holiday! And I thought coming back from Christmas “break” was tough…
Confused
I came in early today because I was imagining pure bedlam. There is no bedlam. In fact, there is only boredom.
Confusing.
And I'm Back...
Well, Christmas is over. I ate too much. My jeans are too tight. I’m back at work.
I guess all good things must come to an end, right?
